FIRST OF ALL IF IT'S AGAINST THE GENERAL PROBOARD'S RULES IT IS AGAINST THE ALLURE OF MAGIC RULES, NO ACCEPTIONS.
Alright, for anyone who's never been around proboards, or just rp sites I'm not going to go into a fake example of good Role Playing. I learned by just browsing and reading others posts. The best examples are the ones that are actually happening on the board, so if you want to get an idea of what they need to look like, just go click random threads. The more posts the person has, the better the rp, chances are.
Just to give a few guidelines so you don't get chewed out by the more experienced:
No God-Modding - Basically, you roleplay your side, you can't decide the rest, if you throw a fire ball don't automatically say it hit. The other person is supposed to react, it makes it more realistic. Just the same you can't avoid every injury, it just doesn't happen. Role play's are supposed to be life like, it isn't a huge story you can contol, your only a character.
If you have a question don't be nervous, ask in this thread and someone will reply. If someone doesn't, then ask in the C-box or pm another member. REMEMBER, what happens between characters is what happens between characters, don't take it personally. Your like a tv actor, just playing a part and unless it says OOC (out of character) it isn't directed at you.
If your new and someone corrects you don't get defensive, just take it into consideration and if you don't think they're correct ask someone or ignore them.
No one sentences, at least a paragraph, 5 SENTENCES OR MORE. If it's only a one sentence thing, it probably isn't even necessary to say.
Good thing to consider: Number of Posts. Again, the higher the number the more experienced, some people with low number's of posts have been to other sites and know whats going on. Now go Rp and have fun.
